At Eugene Christian School, we strive to create a Christ-centered atmosphere, where teachers emphasize character and morality. Our staff loves Jesus as their own Lord and Savior. They have the freedom to share their Christian life and are expected to model God’s love. Our teachers are professionally certified and dedicated to providing each child with a successful academic experience.
Beyond Academics
Weekly Chapel: Students are involved in a weekly worship experience that is inspiring, instructive, interactive and fun.
Daily Bible Classes: Each day starts with an emphasis on Bible verses, making God’s Word a working principle of life and chosen for appropriateness to a lesson objective, and applicable to the needs and understanding of students at each grade level.
Character Building Series: Monthly character traits are emphasized through this special program developed by Association of Christian Schools International. Students are also taught conflict resolution skills.
Service Projects: Students are encouraged to participate in service projects. ECS was awarded a SELCO grant for the Generations In Reading Program, where each class goes to Emerald Assisted Living Facility and reads with the elderly.
