Eugene Christian School Athletics

 

ECS offers volleyball, basketball, and track & field for students in grades 6-8. Our teams compete in the Willamette Valley Youth League against nearby public and private schools.  We encourage all interested students to participate on these ECS teams, regardless of skill level or experience.   Practices are generally held right after school until 4:15 or 4:30 p.m. and games are held twice a week for volleyball and basketball and meets once a week for track and field.

There is a $125 registration fee for each sport.  Students will receive a t-shirt to keep and a uniform to return at the end of the season. There will be a $60 fee for uniforms that are not returned. 

 

For students in grades kindergarten through 5th grade, parent volunteers provide opportunities for sports activities such as girls volleyball, boys and girls basketball, soccer, track and field. Some of these sports teams are through sports organizations such as KidSports and the YMCA.  A classroom parent will notify the parents in the class when a team is being formed so interested ECS classmates can participate together.
