Welcome to ECS

Greetings!

What a joy and honor to partner with you throughout your educational journey.  We wholeheartedly believe that Christian education in the 21st century has the potential to train, develop and unleash leaders for the Kingdom of God.  Our vision is that students would live interactively with Jesus throughout their time at ECS and there would be a tangible difference in the student’s academic, social, emotional and spiritual growth.

In a school community, we know that the Word of God has the power to transform lives.  We sing, dance, read scripture, and deal with the real issues of our time.  We pray.  We reflect.  We want God to move in us, through us, and through others.  And all of this starts by having your child surrounded by an awesome group of staff members who seek and model Christ -- they are the "living curriculum" of our school community.

As a result of Jesus’ work in our lives, we turn our attention to academics and personal growth.  We want students to set goals and work in relationship with teachers, support staff, and parents to accomplish these goals.  We want students to be excellent in math, science, writing, reading and so on.  As we monitor progress, we make plans to adjust, intervene and provide high quality lessons to engage our students.

Finally, the context of discipleship in a community setting is always service to others.  Jesus provides the greatest example of sacrificial love and we model, teach and provide opportunities for our students to serve.  The first place we start is serving those within our school walls and building healthy relationships; discipleship begins on the playground!  From there, we invest our time in energy in supporting causes for the Kingdom of God in our local neighborhoods.

Here’s to an outstanding school year.  By the power of God’s Spirit, may His Kingdom come and His good and perfect will be done.
